In The News Baker Donelson is pleased to announce that 291 of its attorneys have been selected by their peers for inclusion in the 2018 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Twenty-eight of the firm's attorneys were also recognized by Best Lawyers as "Lawyers of the Year.” The Baker Ober Health Law Group at Baker Donelson has earned multiple honors recognizing the group as one of the leading health care practices in the United States. The Birmingham Bar Foundation is pleased to announce that Birmingham attorney Leslie R. Barineau, Barineau and Barineau, has been elected as President of the National Conference of Bar Foundations (NCBF). Ms. Barineau is the first Alabama attorney to hold this position. The NCBF advances the work of bar foundations by promoting the integral role of bar foundations in advancing Leslie R. Barineau law-related philanthropy to the organized bar, the larger legal community, and the philanthropic community; and serving as a clearinghouse and resource to assist bar foundations in carrying out their charitable missions.
