VLB There is tremendous energy around Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham and the positive difference attorney volunteers are making in the Birmingham community. We have more programs, serve more clients, and have more attorneys volunteering with us now more than ever before. Although we served a record-breaking 3,331 clients last year, another 17,000 low-income Birmingham residents had no access to legal help. (Alabama Access to Justice Commission) This staggering amount of unmet legal needs harms low-income individuals, families, the community as a whole, and diminishes our judicial system. Your support helps us change that statistic. We are enthusiastic about our future because of our partnership with Birmingham law firms and companies committed to responding to the need to enhance access to the civil justice system. We are grateful for your trust in Volunteer Lawyers Birmingham to improve the lives of Birmingham residents in need. Thank you for your continued support.
