Mark your calendars for the BBA Annual Membership Picnic on Friday, June 13, 2014, at Old Car Heaven. Our legendary Entertainment Committee, chaired by Nick Callahan, III, will once again “work its magic” to feed and entertain us! If you haven’t been to a BBA picnic in the past, don’t miss this one! Also, keep your eyes peeled for the Bar’s new website, which will go live over the summer. It will offer many new “bells & whistles,” and we expect it to provide a more user-friendly and engaging experience for our members. The Bar’s 2014 Task Forces, one on investments, the other on governance, are hard at work on both fronts. Reports with recommendations should be presented to the BBA Executive Committee over the summer. Even as the summer may bring a somewhat slower pace, the BBA continues its work to support our legal community and BBA members. Whenever the Bar can be of help or support to you, please call or e-mail, or both! Enjoy the summer! John W.
