In The News that two attorneys from the firm’s Birmingham office have been included in the 2017 edition of Chambers USA: Peyton Lacy and James Pennington. Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce that  Marc James Ayers has been reappointed to the Alabama Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. He previously served a two-year term from 2014 to 2016. Hare, Wynn, Newell & Newton announces that trial lawyer Matt Minner of Lexington, Kentucky has earned a coveted spot on Lawdragon's 12th annual list of the "500 Leading Lawyers in America." Nine attorneys from the Birmingham office of Baker Donelson have been ranked as leading practitioners in the recently released 2017 edition of Chambers USA. Of these attorneys, three were included in “Band 1”, Chambers’ top tier. 38 attorneys from Balch & Bingham LLP were individually recognized by Chambers USA as leading lawyers. Nine attorneys earned a “Band 1” ranking within their practice areas, indicating a top-tier ranking, while 13 of the firm’s practices were recognized, including five practices that earned a “Band 1” ranking. The firm was also recognized nationally in Chambers for its regulatory and litigation work relating to nuclear energy.
