$20 FOR 20 YEARS Birmingham Bar Foundation Support the philanthropic and educational mission of This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Birmingham Bar Foundation and our mission to promote constructive legal engagement in our communities. BIRMINGHAM BAR FOUNDATION 2014 has been a great year for the Foundation. This year, some of our work includes the expansion of our judicial education program, which teaches students about the legal system, and a new partnership with the Birmingham Bar Association’s ADR Section to develop a conflict resolution program for high school youth at Tarrant High School. We, too, have maintained our commitment to organizations like the Legal Aid Society of Birmingham, Prescott House Children’s Advocacy Center, the Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama, the Birmingham Bar Volunteer Lawyers Program and the YWCA’s Domestic Violence Program. We could not reach our goals and provide funding for these much-needed programs and services without the involvement of generous donors whose individual support allows the Foundation to give on behalf of Birmingham’s legal community to nonprofit organizations that offer access to justice as well as produce groundbreaking civic and legal educational programs. Please support the philanthropic and educational mission of the Birmingham Bar Foundation with an individual gift of $20 in 2014 to commemorate the Foundation’s 20th Anniversary.
